Purity, Identity, and Content Are Not the Same Number

· Peptide Research, Quality & Testing

Three measurements, three questions

Identity asks whether the main species matches the intended molecule. Purity asks how much of the chromatographic signal belongs to that main peak. Content (when reported) asks how much peptide is present relative to salts, residual solvent, or moisture. Collapsing all three into one headline percentage is how lots get miscompared across vendors.

“Filler-free” language is especially easy to over-read. Absence of an excipient is not the same as 100% net peptide, and it is not a substitute for a mass match. Ask which method produced each number and whether the COA lot equals the vial in hand.

How Biofusion Wellness reports lots

Release packages emphasize independent purity and identity data. Where additional content or appearance fields are included, they are labeled as such. If a study needs a parameter that is not on the current COA, request it against the order before you lock a concentration table.
