Research-use context
Peptide reagents sold by Biofusion Wellness are intended exclusively for laboratory and preclinical research. Research-use-only (RUO) status is a procurement and labeling framework, not a claim of clinical performance. It tells research teams that a lot is supplied for in-vitro or non-clinical investigation, not for diagnosis, treatment, compounding, or human or veterinary use.
Qualified buyers typically need three things to stay aligned with RUO practice: clear product identity, lot-level analytical records, and language that does not imply a finished drug or medical application. Our catalog, invoices, and certificates are written with that boundary in mind.
What RUO does and does not cover
- Supports laboratory investigation, method development, and controlled assay work
- Does not authorize compounding, clinical administration, or consumer wellness use
- Does not replace institutional review, import rules, or local research policies
Teams should confirm that their protocol, receiving lab, and purchasing policy allow RUO reagents before placing an order. If a study later requires a different regulatory class of material, that is a separate sourcing decision—not something a research catalog can convert after the fact.
How we document lots
Each released lot is tied to identity and purity data from independent analytical review. When a Certificate of Analysis is available, it lists the batch identifier, reported purity, and the methods used. Keep that file with your receiving records so later experiments can be traced to a specific vial, not just a product name.
